The past four weeks have seen long-awaited changes in travel. The traffic light system has been scrapped, as have pre-departure Covid tests. Plus, the USA is about to reopen to UK visitors, having had its borders closed for more than 18 months. Overseas travel is back in business, and bookings have skyrocketed as a result. However, COP26 is underway – highlighting an arguably even greater challenge to our sector: climate change.
