During this year's National Apprenticeship Week (7-11 February 2022), ABTA’s Education Manager Vicki Wolf sat down with Sue Ledgard, who sits within the people advisory talent solutions team at Grant Thornton, to discuss apprenticeships in the travel industry.
Grant Thornton has developed a number of apprenticeships that are suitable for ABTA Members, from leadership and management, to finance, coaching and digital and data analytics. These programmes are designed to suit a range of levels and skills within businesses, from entry-level employees to more senior levels of staff. Apprenticeship programmes are now more important than ever, in helping to address the issues surrounding the recruitment and retainment of talented staff due to the pandemic.
