ABTA’s training day is designed for public relations and communications professionals from travel companies of all sizes. The one-day event will provide insight into how to plan effective strategic PR campaigns and expert guidance on the changing media landscape and the latest challenges and opportunities in travel PR.

PR is essential to the travel industry in promoting destinations and experiences to inspire and engage travellers. With the ever evolving media landscape this event provides the opportunity to hear all the latest thinking around campaign planning, media relationships, digital platforms and creative campaigns.

Moderator: Emma Brennan, Head of Media and Communications, ABTA

Emma is responsible for developing and delivering PR and communication strategies to support ABTA’s work on behalf of its members – from lobbying on policy matters to encouraging customers to book with an ABTA member. Her role also oversees ABTA’s busy press office, which is often the first port of call for journalists about a travel-related story or crisis. Prior to working at ABTA Emma has led the PR teams in national organisations including Citizens Advice and Keep Britain Tidy.
