Event details

The travel industry is exposed to many health, safety and security risks from accommodation, food and fire safety through to extreme weather, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers on holiday is essential.

Through workshop style sessions, presentations and case studies, ABTA’s training day will provide you with the tools needed to continually monitor and improve your health, safety and security practices.

Get an overview of the threats facing the industry, the impact of natural disasters and new and re-emerging health outbreaks.

Attend this practical and comprehensive day to fully understand risk management principles, evaluate and prioritise the risks facing your business and develop a health, safety and security programme that’s right for your products.

Learn how to work with your suppliers to reduce risks and identify and manage defects. Get the latest legal update on potential changes to your obligations under the Package Travel Regulations 2018 and ensure you have a suitable risk management system in place.

You will get top tips for carrying out risk assessments and discover how to prioritise the risks you face across your portfolio including accommodation, transport and excursions.
