45% of holidaymakers say sustainability is an important element when booking a holiday*. Compared to 20% in 2011, this indicates that sustainable travel is now considered mainstream. Attend this seminar to understand how you can capitalise on the consumer demand and deliver sustainable services.

ABTA's Delivering Sustainable Travel seminar will provide an essential update on the key sustainability issues that have impacted the travel industry over the past year. Attend to hear the latest industry case studies and learn what innovative solutions have been successful in addressing common sustainability issues. 

This must-attend seminar, now in its third year, returns with an updated format which will provide insightful case studies and focused discussions around four areas of sustainability: destination management, staff and supplier engagement, environmental issues and human rights.

About the event

Delivering a keynote update for the travel industry, The United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment) will be joined by expert speakers from ABTA, travel businesses, tourism boards and other sustainability professionals to provide practical guidance on how you can implement sustainable practices across your organisation, large or small.

Learn how to implement sustainable policies across your business by engaging with staff, suppliers, destinations and customers. Hear workable solutions to address a number of issues such as consumer concerns around waste management including plastic, carbon reduction and human rights issues.

Attend this seminar to benchmark your progress against industry peers, discuss what business practices that have been successful in meeting the growing demand for sustainable travel and learn how ABTA can support your implementation of sustainable policies.
