ABTA’s advanced level social media training has been designed for those working in travel who already have a good understanding of social media platforms and want to enhance their social media strategy.

About the event

From researching destinations and booking directly on social media to live-sharing our holiday experiences, social media has become a fundamental part of travelling for many of us, and certainly for the younger generations. The travel industry has been quick to pick up on the incredible sales potential this brings, with frontrunners using unique and innovative ways to encourage customer engagement, content and bookings on social media platforms.

Attend this advanced training to hear fresh approaches to inspire and revamp your current social media strategy in order to stay ahead of your competitors. Develop a further understanding of how to build, maintain and engage an audience on social media.

As Head of Brand and Marketing, Shelly leads ABTA’s marketing activities, including B2B and B2C advertising and campaigns, social media, publications, website, research and all things brand related. Joining ABTA in 2011, she previously worked in the sport and leisure industry, and has over 20 years’ experience working with high profile brands. Shelly works as part of a job share.
