ABTA Breakfast Briefings – Cyber Security Update

22 April 2026
8.30-10.45
Venue:
ABTA, 30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ

Event details

Cyber threats cost UK businesses £14.7 billion last year, with half of small firms experiencing one in the last 12 months.  Travel businesses hold sensitive data including bookings, payment details and personal information putting them at risk of attack.

ABTA’s breakfast briefing is an opportunity to get up to date on new EU Cybersecurity Regulations and get guidance on what you can do to strengthen your digital infrastructure and provide protection from a potential attack.

The morning will include an update on the UK’s Data (Use and Access) Act, which introduces new obligations for companies including updates to cookie consent, automated decision-making and the ICO enforcement powers.

Debbie Venn,  Partner at DMH Stallard will guide you through the updates that impact the travel industry and answer any questions you may have.
