Search tips

If you search using more than one word, the search engine will only return results that contain all the words you’ve requested. 

For example, if you enter the words Code of Conduct, the search engine will only return results that contain the words Code and Conduct. It won’t return results containing just the word Code or results containing just the word Conduct.  

You can refine your search in a number of ways:

Quote marks

If you surround a few words in quote marks – e.g. “Code of Conduct” – the search engine will consider the words together, as a single phrase. It will only return results that contain that phrase, and will ignore the individual words Code and Conduct.

Or

If you’re not sure of the exact name of the thing that you’re searching for, you can enter a number of words or phrases and separate them with the word or – e.g. Code or Conduct or Industry or Standards. The search engine will return results containing any of these individual words.

Other tips

If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you could try the following:

Make sure that all words are spelled correctly
Try different keywords
Try fewer keywords
Try more general keywords
Try making the word singular if it’s plural, and vice versa
