Training

ABTA’s vision is of an industry that creates rewarding jobs - at home in the UK and overseas

Training and development is key to building rewarding careers. ABTA sees the travel industry as a force for good both in the UK and abroad. To this end we want to ensure that our Members and their customers have a positive influence on all the destinations they visit.

ABTA has developed a range of free online training tools with a number of key partners that will provide our Members and their staff with key information so that they can ensure their customers are well treated and well informed. Some of the training will also help them to develop key policies and procedures to ensure they're able to provide safe, positive holidays for their customers and those in the destinations they visit.

BBC Fast Track ran a programme talking about Every Child, Everywhere – the free online child protection training ABTA developed with ECPAT UK (the end child prostitution and trafficking charity). Watching it will give you an idea of how little changes to your policies and procedures can have a real impact.
