ABTA has submitted a response to the Government’s Aviation Strategy Green Paper consultation, which closes on 20 June. ABTA’s submission focuses on the role Government can play in creating a regulatory and tax environment that supports the development of a sustainable and competitive aviation sector. In addition, ABTA is encouraging the Government to bring forward a separate consultation on airline insolvency, and is urging policymakers not to lose momentum on the issue, following the recent publication of recommendations from the Independent Airline Insolvency Review.
