    18 Nov 2008 Following the ABTA and FTO merger in July, ABTA has signed a lease agreement on new premises at 30 Park Street, close to the key transport hubs of London Bridge and Waterloo. ABTA plans to relocate all staff - currently based at 68-71 Newman Street, and Graphic House in Hayward’s Heath - at the end of January 2009.

    12 Nov 2008 The region of Calvià in Mallorca – technically the largest tourism destination in Spain by number of beds, and possibly in the world – with 60,000 tourist accommodation units/beds in total - has committed to improve its sustainability by working with the Federation of Tour Operators on its Travelife Sustainability System.
