If you have been affected by this incident, we have the following guidance information for you:
FOR CUSTOMERS CURRENTLY OVERSEAS ON A SUN 4 U LTD HOLIDAY PACKAGE
If you are on an air holiday package under ATOL 9251 (this will be detailed on your invoice)
If you are on an air holiday package under ATOL 9251 and are abroad the CAA will make arrangements so that you are able to complete your holiday. The CAA intends to re-protect existing in-bound flying, so customers should check in for their flights as normal. Hotels and accommodation agents may require customers who are abroad to pay for their accommodation again. If you are protected under the Sun 4 U's ATOL you may be able to claim this money back. If Sun 4 U Ltd acted as your retail travel agent
Sun 4 U Ltd sold holidays and flights as agents on behalf of other tour operators and airlines. These arrangements should be unaffected by the situation. You are advised to check your invoice and holiday information which will detail the travel company your arrangements are being provided by. If you are in doubt, you should contact this company for further advice.

If you purchased accommodation only through Sun 4 U Ltd
Customers who purchased only their accommodation arrangements through Sun 4 U Ltd may be asked to pay for their accommodation again, directly to the accommodation. If you initially paid via Credit Card or Visa Debit Card , you may be able to claim these monies back. You should contact your Credit Card or Debit Card issuer or travel insurer for further advice.
If you purchased flights only through Sun 4 U Ltd
Customers who purchased flight only arrangements through Sun 4 Ltd should be unaffected by this situation if your credit was used to make payment direct to the airline. If you are in doubt, you should contact the airline you are travelling with to verify that your seat reservation is still valid.
FOR CUSTOMER WHO ARE DUE TO TRAVEL IN THE FUTURE WITH SUN 4 U LTD
Sun 4 U Ltd acted in a variety of capacites as a travel company. It is therefore, very important that you establish which arrangement you were due to be travelling under. This will be detailed on the paperwork you have been provided with by Sun 4 U Ltd. This paperwork should detail exactly which company you have entered into a contract with and it is this company that should be contacted with regards to establishing whether you will be able to travel.
If your contract is with Sun 4 U Ltd for an air holiday package under ATOL 9251
CAA are advising customers under these arrangements that they should not travel and instead, should make a claim for a refund. To access a claim form, please see the CAA website.
If you purchased accommodation only through Sun 4 U Ltd
Customers who purchased only their accommodation arrangements through Sun 4 U Ltd are not be covered by ATOL. If your invoice details your contract being with an accommodation provider and not Sun 4 U Ltd, you are advised to contact the accommodation provider directly to establish the status of your booking. If the accommodation provider has not been paid by Sun 4 U Ltd, it is unlikely that they will honour your booking. In this case, you are advised to contact your Credit Card or Visa Debit Card issuer or travel insurer for further advice.
