WORKING TIME DIRECTIVE

The UK has an opt out of this directive which limits workers to 48 hours per week. The possible abolition of this opt out is under discussion in the Council of Ministers.

ABTA’s Position

ABTA supports the UK Government’s desire to keep the opt out and is lobbying the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (BERR) to this end.
