WORKING TIME DIRECTIVE

Agreement was reached at the meeting of EU employment ministers on 9 and 10 June 2008, and the EU Council has published its proposed wording for a directive to amend the Working Time Directive.

ABTA is pleased that the opt-out provisions were maintained in the proposal and is following the progress of the proposal through the European processes.
